The BEST !!!. We go every year for Labor Day and are always pleased beyond possible. The staff is impeccable, the location is beautiful. It is clean, pristene and near every possible amenity you could want, especially the golf ! I definitely recommend it for couples or families. Does not disappoint.

Best Escape in the PNW. This was our first road trip to Central Oregon. Now I understand why some people go here every year. We are not outdoorsy people, but Sunriver definitely changed our minds (to an extent). You can rent either a room at the resort or one of the condos on the Sunriver properties. The resort has alot to offer: bicycling, river rafting, canoeing, tennis, GOLF, hiking, horseback riding, etc. The employees were friendly, polite, and accommondating. I was impressed with hose poised and mature their teenage employees behaved. The only negative is, this is a pet-friendly resort, so our room reeked like a dirty dog. They told us they would put us in a room that didn't have any pets previously, but they either forgot to do that for us, or realized we got our room on a discount and gave us a room that was less than average. Overall, we had a positive experience.

Great getaway spot.. Sunriver is a great vacation spot. Our family has gone here for years during the spring and summer. The golfing is great. There are also many other activities such as white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking, fishing...and my brothers have even gone paintballing there. The house rentals accomendations are really clean and nice..almost everything you would expect to be in your homes are in the rental houses like washer and dryer and good kitchens.

Guests have access to the resort's four outdoor pools, tennis courts and miles of bike paths. Summer offers golf, rafting, canoeing, horseback riding and more. Thanks to its close proximity to Mount Bachelor, snowboarders and skiers flock here in the winter. Guests staying in private rentals can take advantage of full kitchens and outdoor grills; a supermarket is on the premises, but cost-conscious travelers should bring food with them to avoid resort-level prices.

Home away from home. Sunriver has become my family's favorite relaxation spot. My husband and I go and stay in the River Lodges for a romantic getaway. The new Spa / Gym is incredible! Work out, get a great massage, and go back to those INCREDIBLE River Lodge rooms to melt under the down comforter!When the family comes with us, we rent a house and take advantage of all the things Sunriver had to offer everyone in the family. In the Winter, Skiing, Dogsledding,etc. In the summer, swimming,horseback riding, canoeing, biking.

There is nowhere else in Oregon like Sunriver!!

Do You Live in Portland??. Do you get tired of the rain by mid-February?

Well, Sunriver is the closest year-round fun-in-the-sun destination you can drive to less than 1/2 a day. They've got something for everyone which is why I take my family there. We take turns. I get a round of golf..she gets a morning at the spa..and then we all do one thing together like rafting or horseback riding. It's a great last-minute weekend plan that requires little planning...their website spells out a lot of the family-friendly options.
