WARNING, don't waste your time or money on this one! We had 7:30 dinner reservations. After waiting 15 mins. to be seated (apparently they gave our seats to a couple who walked in), we ordered three dinners and some sushi appetizers and drinks. We were not impressed with the atmosphere, very bright lighting, low ceiling, no windows, almost as if we were in a converted office space. After another 10 minutes we were greeted by our tempanaki "chef". What a joke, a caucasian, 21 yr old, with the personality of a wet sponge. This guy had no interaction with the us or the other guests at the table. He was basically there for a paycheck, just going through the motions and doing the min. he could to get by. We asked if he had a sweet sauce for our chicken and he about came unglued, questioning why we wanted a sweet sauce for Japanese food. All the while he complained about the management and the owner, saying it sucked. Finally, once the grand show (NOT!) was over, and we had eaten, our sushi appetizers arrived. We sent them back, got our check, and left. EXTREMLY DISAPPOINTING! We will never be back!
Pros: getting our check and leaving
Cons: lousy chef, aweful service, poor ambience

been taking friends and family to shojis for more then five years, best Teriyaki chicken in town. great food and drinks with an excellant sushi bar.
