location location location. I have been a customer of high lakes health care for many years. a few years ago my primary doc. retired and I was at a loss. When HLHC moved to the west side of bend, I was pleased. Saw Dr. Lemee for my annual wellness and thought she was okay but all business. Saw her a month later for another appt. and she was more personable, efficient and took care of the issue quickly. Also had a billing coding issue that hopefully will be resolved this month. I recommend HLHC. Quieter and more caring than BMC for certain!

Great Neighborhood, Trustworthy Care!!. I would recommend this clinic over any other to take care of my family and I. Dr. Surber, my new physician is intelligent, smart, and a real person. I feel like the staff and physicians are looking out for my health, guiding me to the right referral and respond better than some of the large companies here in town. I'm not a number to them and I can appreciate that!

Undiagnosed & terrible care.. Blechman was a great doctor -unfortunately she left a few days before I took ill. Never in my life have I been so sick. Vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and it went on week after week! I saw 4 different doctors there. Rather than do the proper tests one doc asked me if I wanted antidepressants! Another didn't know what the B was in the BRAT diet! Really?! After 3 ER visits & vomiting blood I finally went to BMC urgent care who diagnosed me within hours: a TREATABLE parasite. Of course after going untreated for 2 months it took 1.5 more months to eradicate the disease and 6 months to get back to 90% function. My digestion will never be the same again and I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. Contrary to some other reviews, the support staff was actually very good to me. I hardly ever write these but it was such a terrible situation I felt compelled to share it. Good luck!

Worst heaith care I have ever experianced!. My Primary doctor was very nice.we asked for a referral and that is when everything went bad. The specialest was for adhd for our son. this so called Dr. went with this one medication. which he did not tell us it was extreamly expensive. we then asked for a new perscription. that would not cost as much. the nurse for this doctor proceeded to tell me this was the only medication. and the doctor refused to change the perscription. i did check with the pharmesist if there was other perscriptions at a less price that would be comperble. there was several. this doctor now has rejected our family from medical care due to the fact that i refused that treatment and asked for a 2nd refurral to a diffrent a doctor. my comment is this sounds like someone taking kick backs from the drug company, not caring for his patients. found out he is the head of all the doctors and of the clinic. so you decide for you're self if you want this kind of care for you're family. I know for myself there are better doctors and facilities here in bend!!!

Great Doctors. I went to BMC for years. They goofed around with a lot of expensive tests and just scratched their heads while refusing to give me a suitable level of medication.

I went to high lakes. I LOVE my primary ( Blechman ) and the other doctors I've seen there.

My husband even likes them and he NEVER goes to doctors until the problem requires more than tylenol.

The only problem we've had was with information regarding a change of insurance. The problem was fixed quickly and professionally, though.

bad patient relations. I went there for years and only stayed on as I liked my physician. They often seemed stressed and twice I was over charged and each time they stood by it and would not make a correction. Non of my family will ever go there again.
