Steer Clear

Quite frankly I relied on this site and the recommendations to select a new stylist. Candace gets by far the best rating but I truly feel that many of the good reviews were written by her or someone she knows personally. My first haircut was expensive but good. After that I received several marginal cuts, the last one being the worst. Nothing blended and I did not feel like she even listened to what I said. I write this review to warn other readers...keep searching, she is not the one!!! You'll be sorry!

good hair cut but too expensive

$50 for a haircut! are you kidding me! I was there less than 30 minutes. They were very hard to get a hold of, never answer the phone, it always goes to voicemail. Salon Indigo works if you want a new style but go elsewhere for reasonable priced up keep.

Debi has been waxing me for over a year..She is wonderful, and the best waxer i have ever had.. she used to work for moxy and now has moved to salon indigo..not only is she a great waxer, but she is so funny and fun to be around.. for the best in town call her..541-948-5111

I went into Salon Indigo just a couple of weeks ago and was seen by Candace. She was doing a color correction and cut, and let me tell you, this lady is easy going and fun to talk to, never had a moment of awkward silence that you can sometimes get with other stylists. My hair came out amazing. She has skills, this woman. She pulled my hair up from a violet red, to a beautiful copper with beige blonde highlights. I have never felt so self confident, and I can give all my thanks to Candace and Salon Indigo. She is a magician with the hair! Nice atmosphere, great service. You won't be disappointed! I just got my hair cut from Candace at Salon Indigo and she did a WONDERFUL job! It was a pretty drastic cut from a few inches below the shoulder to an inch or so above the shoulder. She told me that I could pull off short hair and she was right! Not only did she do a great job cutting/styling my hair, be she is also extremely nice and down to earth - and that can be hard to find at some salons. I am actually from Portland, and happened to be in town and needed a haircut. I wish that I could keep getting my hair cut from her! call her 385-3191

Candace has been coloring my hair blonde for the past 6 year's. If you are looking for somebody that knows how to do the perfect blonde she is you're gal. It never look's fake, brassy, or yellow, like some girls you see. I always get asked who does my blonde because it always look's perfect! All around great place.

Best Salon in Town

I have had my hair done in upscale salons in California and Portland. When I moved to Bend 2 years ago I was a bit concerned about finding a stylist I could trust. I found Salon Indigo on Citysearch. Despite the rave reviews, I was still a bit nervous, but decided to call. I am so happy I did! Candace has been my stylist for the past 2 years and she has always done a fantastic job. My color is gorgeous - I always get compliments. The cut is exactly what I ask for each time. I will never go anywhere else.

SALON INDIGO ROCKS

I always scroll thru the reviews of my favorite local haunts and was shocked to see a negative review of Salon Indigo. I have been going there for years, even scheduling visits from Alaska to get my hair done before we moved back. The owner Candace has always given me the best cuts, she has cutting edge (no pun intended) ideas and talent and her prices are incredibly fair for the high quality of service you are receiving. Salon Indigo feels like a salon you would find in LA or New York, without the pretense. There was a remark about the owner answering her cell phone, I know in order to keep prices affordable for clients, the stylist all have cell numbers instead of a salon phone.....I feel this is totally appropriate and I appreciate the reasons. I have never felt my service has been compromised due to an incoming call. I am always able to give input and it is received warmly and honestly. Not only do I get my hair done there, my husband won't go anywhere else and my two teen age boys refuse to get haircuts until they can get in with Candace. If you can satisfy two teenagers, you MUST be doing something right! I hope people visit Salon Indigo and see for themselves what an incredible classy, upbeat and professional salon we have right here in Central Oregon.

I was asked if I cut my hair myself!

It was an all around awful experience. I had my hair cut by the owner of all people. You think she would know what she was doing. My service was interupted twice to answer her cell phone. Once while I was in the shampoo bowl and another when she was cutting my hair! This was a hard enough experience for me because I was cutting my hair at least 6 inches. I read the reviews for this salon which is why I went. So I wanted to do you all a favor and let you know that you can't always bet on your experience being the best just by reading other peoples reviews or vice versa. I am mortified with the outcome of my hair cut. It's completely uneven and a couple of places chunks of hair are missing. I even brought in a picture for her to understand what I was looking for. Anyway - I hope this was helpful. Just needed to let you all know.
