Great for Business or Pleasure

My business partner and I stay at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center several times each year while consulting for nearby clients. We heard about this great Bend hotel from a client and decided to try it. In the past, we have stayed at other hotels or motels, I guess you could call them, in the same vicinity. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the Riverhouse Resort for the first time. Our business keeps us on the road over 65% of the year, and we usually stay at a chain hotel since it is easy and you normally know what you are getting.

Since we stay for at least one week during each trip, we appreciate that they have larger rooms with all the conveniences you would need for a lengthy stay including a great work space. The onsite Business Center has everything you need to keep your business on track. The rooms are clean, well-kept and have a nice, comfortable feel to them. Where else can you work while overlooking the Deschutes River running just outside your balcony? If you need to travel for work, you might as well enjoy it.

We never have to go far when entertaining our client?s as the hotel has a wonderful on-site restaurant, The Crossings. The chef is wonderful as is the entire staff. They are all friendly and genuine and not obtrusive so you can easily conduct business without too many interruptions.

I am so glad that we found the Riverhouse Resort, and will continue to return for business and pleasure!

The Riverhouse For Sure

I had to visit family living in Bend, and found the Riverhouse Resort exceptional for my experience. I loved the room that I stayed in. It was bigger than most hotel rooms and the furnishings were very comfortable with a fireplace and a kitchen. I bet you can?t get a better view of the Deschutes River anywhere, it was right out our balcony door. The amenities were great as well. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The Continental Breakfast in the morning was so handy, it was great to be able to grab a quick bite without any hassle before running out the door. When visiting family again, it?s the Riverhouse Resort for sure!

Top Notch Staff

I typically don?t write reviews but my encounter with the staff at the Riverhouse was so refreshing that I felt the need to tell my story. I travel frequently for business and let?s just say that most times the customer service or lack there of can leave you wondering where did it go? I was attending a meeting at the Riverhouse Resort and had flown in from Arizona. My plane was delayed which from past experience I thought this was surely going to cause a problem when checking in, however I was surprised when the front desk crew greeted me with smiles and was able to put me in the room I had requested, with no hassle. The rooms were large and had everything I needed including a great well lit desk and a view of the Deschutes River outside my balcony. By the time I got settled I was starving and thought surely room service would be closed but to my surprise the staff was very friendly, took my order and it arrived in less than 30 minutes still hot!

The next morning after enjoying a complimentary Continental Breakfast I was finalizing my presentation and realized my handouts were incorrect and I needed to prepare new ones immediately. The business center was located right in the convention center lobby which made this a quick fix but I needed my handouts copied, collated and stapled and I was running out of time. The staff noticed my panic and once again offered to help me out by suggesting they could handle it for me. My presentation was riding on these handouts and getting them on time was crucial. The staff had everything back to me just as I had requested, collated, stapled and ready to hand out. It is refreshing to know that this type of service is still out there and obviously thriving at the Riverhouse Resort and Convention Center. Thanks to the staff my presentation was seamless and nobody was the wiser to my earlier predicament.
