The Scene
When ski season's in full swing, the Inn serves as stomping ground for shred-heads that flock to Mount Bachelor for the light, dry snow. Once the snow's gone, it becomes headquarters for sun-seeking vacationers and a resting point for mountain bikers, who pass below on the Deschutes River trail and across the highway on Phil's Trails.

Several condo options are available, from three-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchenettes and private decks, to cozy one-bedroom units with fireplaces. The lush, green, manicured grounds are surrounded by hiking and biking trails, and feature two swimming pools, a water slide, three hot tubs, horse stables and riding trails, a winter ice-skating rink, two restaurants and a conference center. The resort is located three hours from Portland, five miles west of Bend and 20 minutes from Mount Bachelor.
